  1. Windows 10 looses internent access after shutdown

So I upgraded to the October update when it came out on October 2nd and since then when I shut down my computer for the night and then start it up for the day the next day I have no internet connection and so I will have to let my computer start up and then connect to the internet

so this is happening on a 3 year old Dell laptop that I have had since 2016 so what I am asking is does this have something to do with a flaw in the windows 10 October 2018 update if I installed it on October 2nd and then started having issues with loss of internet connectivity on startup and would this be something that needs to be fixed in a patch in relation to the re-release of that update earlier this month and also if I already have the update when will i be getting a patch to fix the earlier update or will I be getting a new feature update on top of origanly installing this feature update before it was ready for my computer and will there be a new feature update to override and upgrade my computer to a new patch.

be advised i am not having any issues on my Surface Go it is just my laptop from dell running windows 10 pro with the feature update downloaded last month on October 2nd

I need help ASAP i have also tried to do the media creation and install the same update over the original

    :)

  2. Ahhzz Win User

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
