Windows 10: Windows 10 lost admin account and can't disable bitlocker

I have just set up a new Win10 PC and it looks like I have dug myself into a hole and I don't know which way to go.I wanted to to remove MacAfee and it wouldn't uninstall - the system seemed to stall, so I tried to get into Safe Mode, and bitlocker popped up. After reviewing BL I realised that one wrong move and I would be in a mess.I also wanted to turn off the login prompt and tried the netplwiz route but the "don't use a password check box" was not there. I selected advanced and saw that my user name was less than ideal. I had mistyped it, so I reasoned that if I changed it, the folder name

How does BitLocker behave on a PC with multiple admin accounts and multiple non-admin accounts?

I'm thinking of enabling BitLocker on a Windows 10 Version 1709 Pro x64 PC and setting the drives to automatically unlock. The PC currently has:

• 2 Microsoft Accounts (AccountA and AccountB) with admin authority. BitLocker will be enabled using AccountA.
• 2 Microsoft Accounts (AccountB and AccountC) with non-admin authority.
• 1 Local, Non-Microsoft Account (AccountD) with non-admin authority.

Given the above, how will BitLocker behave when the PC is booted up and an account
other than Account A is logged in to? Will the OS request the BitLocker password, or will the BitLocker protected drives automatically unlock? I'm hoping for the latter behavior so as not to degrade the user experience for accounts other than AccountA.

Does anyone know?

Thank you for coming back to me, i have explored all the options you have suggested, but in each instance i an asked to do the task with elevated privileges. The only active account on this laptop is the standard user, which is what i use to login with.

I hope this makes sense.

Once you get the hidden Admin account enabled, you'll be able to change your user account from standard to admin. Then please remember to hide the Admin account when you're finished.
