Windows 10: Windows 10 LTSB 21H2. Unable to install any cumulative update since KB5040427 because of...

Hi allI'd appreciate some assistance. I am trying to update a HP thin client image which is updated with DISM and while this is often problematic, normally persistence pays off and often installing the patches in a certain order.Anyhow the last patch I was able to install on this device was KB5040427.Since then there have been 3 cumulative update and all fail. Windows setup in event viewer reports 0x800f0922I honestly don't know how to navigate the vast CBS log to efficiently see the issue, can someone assist me please?

Anyone else having problems getting the Cumulative Update for Windows 10 for x64-based Systems (KB3156387) installed? This update has been failing for me & doing a failed to update after downloading & reboot, then rebooting & removing the update.

V 10.0 build 10240

Maybe try with the Windows update mini-tool, found here http://www.techpowerup.com/forums/t...dows-10-automatic-updates-and-spyware.218745/ , thanks to Mussels. it installed perfectly for me last night.

 

Failure to install - Monthly cumulative update for Windows 10

Hi,

Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC (21H2) is using in my company.

All monthly update failure to install. Windows 10 will undo for those updates.

• 2023-04 Cumulative update for Windows Version 21H2 for x64 based Systems (KB5025221)
  
• 2023-03 Cumulative update for Windows Version 21H2 for x64 based Systems
  
• 2023-02 Cumulative update for Windows Version 21H2 for x64 based Systems
  

May I know any reason ?
