Windows 10: Windows 10 LTSC update KB5006672 problem

Hello.I have a clean install of a Windows 10 2019 LTSC version. Get an problem when trying to install the KB5006672. Windows update will not install it.I have done the following.Troubleshoot Windows update.Stopped the windows update service. Deleted the files in softwaredownload/downloadsrebooted the computer.Tried to force the install SC config trustedinstaller start=autoRun the SFC/scan all okDownloaded the file from windows update. Get an error that the package is wrong for my OS.Extracted the msi file and tried installing the DISM get a mismatch error.Don’t know what to do next anybody hav

Windows 10 upgrade problem, no input accepted

I really hate having to come here and ask for help, but I really am stumped. It hurts my geek pride. I have a PC with fairly modern hardware in it. It has a p8p67 pro in it. I have tried upgrading windows 10 on it twice now. Both times I have had the same result.

After windows finishes upgrading it goes to the log in/set up screen. I can't do anything. No keyboard or mouse input is accepted.

I will list some, or hopefully all, of the troubleshooting steps I have tried:

• Move keyboard and mouse to different USB ports.
• Try different keyboard or mouse.
• Restart computer, repeatedly.
• Google for related issues.
• Update Bios, because why not.
• Create boot media and revert to windows 7.

The windows 10 system restore boot media works fine with keyboard and mouse. All USB ports work in windows 7. I don't know what is wrong. I suspect that windows 10 is lacking a driver of some sort, but since the computer accepts no input I have no way of checking for which driver let alone installing it.

Please help me figure this out. If I have to revert back to windows 7 again, I am not going to get it upgraded to windows 10. Thank you in advanced.

It's basically what I mentioned above, small issues here and there ,but nothing to end your day.. for the most part.

I know it's anecdotal, but for my experience 95% of the time it's perfectly fine. The issues I've run into wouldn't be enough for me to roll back , but they would be enough (had I not installed it yet) ,to avoid it for another couple weeks which is why I'm suggesting it to the OP

keep in mind, as of recently, the FCU is installed on 5% of devices roughly.....

 

Windows LTSC update page showing update for 1903, but does not download

As you are already aware that LTSC will be till 1809. But, as per
Windows Server servicing channels: LTSC and SAC article, 1903 is released through Semi-Annual Channel.
