  1. Windows 10 made my computer laggy

So my Hard Drive with windows 7 broke down, but fortunately I got a spare one with windows 10 in it. After installing my Hard Drive my pc seems to have become laggy and keeps eating 100% of my CPU. I can't play games like League of Legends anymore with a steady 1-2 fps when before I can play it smoothly. Is there a way to fix this? If not should I consider downgrading my windows?

    My specs btw are:
    AMD Radeon HD 8470D
    AMD A6-6400k
    8gb RAM

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

Note: The article holds good for Windows 10.

    Note:

Reset will result in the loss of data and the applications installed. You may take a backup of the data before reset.
