Windows 10: Windows 10 Mail and Earthlink.net

Trying to set up email on our new computer running Windows 11. Came with Mail and Calendar program installed. Earthlink gives specific instructions to use pop.earthlink.net with a port of 110 and smtpauth.earthlink.net with a port of 587 as the POP3 addresses. But not seeing a way to ensure the ports are correct like in other email programs. Have changed the default numbers in the sync options to these numbers. Nothing seems to work. Cannot download email and don't dare try to send any at this time. Realize we're old school with language like "Earthlink" and "program." How can we make this ne

Earthlink troubles with Microsoft 10/Outlook

I have an earthlink webmail account that I have used for over 20 years for my email, even though I no longer use earthlink as an internet service provider. I have always been able to sign onto earthlink webmail on any computer or my phone. In the last week,
I have not been able to access webmail on my new computer, which has Windows 10. I can still get a truncated version of earthlink webmail on my phone, but when I try to access the full version on my phone or on my desktop, I get a "this webpage cannot be reached"
message. I tried tying the account in on Outlook and on my gmail account but in both cases the incoming mail does not appear and the outgoing mail only sometimes goes through. I need to at least get to my earthlink account so that I can save my contacts list
and perhaps forward the mail to gmail. Any help is appreciated.

No Earthlink Address Book for Earthlink, an Account under Outlook

Well then explain this - On my desktop computer (Win10, Office 2013) a separate address book was generated when I added my Earthlink account to Outlook. So when I open the Outlook Address Book I see an Outlook address list, an Earthlink address list and an icloud (I also added my Icloud account) address list, all separate lists. Originally the earthlink address list was empty but I imported the earthink address book from another computer. The HP
all-In-One computer is running Win10, Office 2019, this is the computer I am having trouble with. Not sure if the problem is unique to Outlook 2019 or not. If you look at the Outlook email file structure under on the desktop unit you can see the earthlink email structure has a contact sub-folder. This is not the case in the All-In-One system. Only an outlook contact sub-folder is available. I was wondering how I can add a contact sub-folder.
