    Windows 10 mail app: Images included in messages I create replaced by red X - loading...


    I create new message in Win 10 email app. I insert images in the body of the email. Images are copied and pasted from MS snip and sketch feature.


    The images display properly in the email. I stop creating the email, which is saved in drafts folder. I return to the message and add text. I return later to the message and add another image.


    In some messages, not all, when I return later - minutes, hours, or overnight - to the message in draft, all the images have been replaced by red X - Loading box.


    Why do the images disappear? What can I do about it?


    Win 10 Version 20H2 19042.804 win 10 mail app Version 16005.13426.20566.0
