Windows 10: Windows 10 Mail App - something went wrong and we weren't able to save your recent edits

I am looking to see if anyone can help


I have a user who is using the windows 10 mail app, and when she creates a new calander entry and tries to invite people there is an error


"something went wrong and we weren't able to save your recent edits"


Ive reinstalled the account - had a look through settings and scrolled the internet - can anyone help me with a solution

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it.

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

• Open powershell as administrator
• Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
• Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)

 

Something went wrong and we weren't able to save your recent edits

Hello,

I am using freshly updated Windows 10. In the last few days, I noticed that my emails are not send. The following error messages are displayed:

"There was an error sending your message". and "Something went wrong and we weren't able to save your recent edits". Please help.

I did that to no avail, then I ran WSReset.exe; now I'm good on all 3, Mail, Calendar and People! *Confused
Go figure!
