    I have seen several threads concerning the inability to print "some" email from Microsoft Mail in Windows 10. I have on occasion encountered this problem too. Through a little experimentation I've come to the conclusion that the problem is with the standard Microsoft Mail app supplied with Windows 10 and it's inability to handle embedded pictures properly. Most of my emails print just fine but, whenever an email has an embedded picture at the beginning, it will not print. There is nothing sent to the printer nor, are there any messages displayed.     Unable to print due to wrong print settings - Windows 10 Email app

    Hi!

    I have a customer that is having an issue with printing from the Windows 10 E-mail app. Windows version is 19.03 but the problem has been present for quite some time now.

    • The printer is a Brother DCP-7030.
    • Printer works fine when printing from other applications.
    • We tried repairing the mail app but still the same issue. Driver update is not available.
    • We've checked the printer settings and can't find anything wrong. Also disabled E-mail app from making changes to the settings. Still getting "Unable to print due to wrong print settings".

    Some suggestions have been made to turn off the UAC but that doesen't seem lika a long term solution.

    2. Since when are you facing this issue?

    Windows 10 Mail App - unable to print some emails possible solution

    Unable to print from Windows 10 Mail and Calendar app

    When I tried to print certain HTML formatted emails in the default Windows 10 Mail and Calendar app it goes into print queue and disappears but there is no printer output at all. Why won't the default Mail app print certain emails? I have to print from outlook.com website as a workaround but outlook.com has ads. Is there a way to fix the printing issue in the default Windows 10 mail app?
