  1. Windows 10 Mail App

    Hi,

ever since i got a Microsoft 365 account, i can't seem to get my Mail and Calendar app to work properly.

The Windows 10 Mail app is no longer showing old mails, it asks me to use search.

Furthermore, i set the "Download emails from" feature to 3 months, yet it is still showing mails from 1 and a half year ago.

If i change the time to "download email from Anytime", no change is noticed.

I have reset my mail app multiple times, have even reinstalled windows 10 for another issue yet i am stuck with this stupid problem. I need access to my emails at all times, so i want them downloaded from day one.

The outlook app works fine, but i prefer the Mail and Calendar app for its cleaner interface and light resource usage.

Can anyone please help me out:

How to make my Windows 10 Mail app download and display all the old emails.

and i am using an outlook.com address, so it's more irksome.

    :)

Mail app will not open on 10041.

    Hello Adam,

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it. Windows 10 Mail App :)

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

    • Open powershell as administrator
    • Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
    • Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)

Mail app will not open on 10041.

    Hey Shawn,
I did that to no avail, then I ran WSReset.exe; now I'm good on all 3, Mail, Calendar and People! *Confused
    Go figure!
