Windows 10: Windows 10 Mail App

The OS I am running is Windows 10 version 1511 (build 10586). Windows 10 was preinstalled by Dell version Windows 8. I was able to upgrade to Win 10 with the latest build successfully. It appeared that all of the preinstalled apps were working properly. However the Mail app went dead a day or 2 later. It just will not open. I can go back to an earlier recovery set point and yes the mail app works but goes dead again in a day or two. There is nothing wrong with my Gmail account because I am able to use Gmail web site to get mail. I have even tried to install windows with a clean load and still have this problem show up a few days later. On this computer there are two accounts and the other account has no problem running the Mail app. I also have another laptop running Win 10 with the accounts linked and have not experience the mail problem on the second laptop. I have also tried deleting the account and reinstalling it but the problem comes back a few days later. Last all of the updates are installed successfully. I like the look and feel of the app and would like to get it stable if possible.

Email Error Code 0x80040902

If Window 10 Email doesn't work, then Windows 10 is a mistake! Your fix doesn't work, that is where I had it originally. When I first set it up, it worked, now it doesn't. BAD!

 

Organize Mail in Windows 10

You have pointed to the Window 8 mail app, which is different from the Windows 10 mail app.

The Windows 10 mail app doesn't have even the functionality that was in the very limited Windows 8 mail app.
