Windows 10: Windows 10 Mail Client not Working

Dear All,


I am currently having trouble syncing the inbox from my Gmail Account on my Mail App on Windows 10 device. I have tried all methods on YouTube and other support sites, troubleshooting and eve command prompt. Nothing works.


The weird thing is that sent mail and others are syncing perfectly.


Please help.

Mail app will not open on 10041.

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it.

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

• Open powershell as administrator
• Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
• Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)

 

Links not working in any mail client.


Right click on the taskbar start button to get a pop out menu.
Choose and click on Control Panel
The control panel items box will pop up with titles in alphabetical order
Choose and click on Default Programs
In the listed choices, select the second choice




Browse down through the list to PROTOCALS
You are checking to see the internet browser that is associated with a link. If it is not the expected or there is nothing there then use the Change Program button to get the browser of choice



If the expected browser is listed but your email links are still not connecting then its some other troubleshooting path to investigate

 

W10 Mail client run as admin and send to not working

I having some trouble with Windows 10 and IBM Notes 9.0.1 FP6 bcs I need to run Notes as administrator otherwise some functions that is used like create templates and more not working, but running Notes as administrator breaks the function in Explorer to right click on a docx, xlsx, pdf or any file for that matter and choose "Send to --> Mail recipient" nothing happens in Notes no new mail comes up and if I am standing in a new mail it doesn't add the file as an attachment so anyone know how I can get this to work?

Bcs Notes needs administrator right under Windows 10, this function worked fine under Windows 7 and I think Windows 8/8.1 so anyone have an idea on how to get this to work?
