    Windows 10 Mail - Folders Dont Show Update and No Notification


    Hi,


    In the Windows 10 app, I find that any folders in the mailbox do not show new messages.


    For example, I would expect the following:


    Inbox

    >Test1 Folder 32

    >Test2 Folder 1

    >Test3 Folder 10


    However there are no numbers listed or any sort of highlighting, infact I dont know there are any new emails unless I directly go into a folder (not very productive imo). I'm sure it was not like this before. Its frustating as by chance I logged into Outlook.com and saw a load of new emails that I had no notification of via Windows10 Mail or its notifications.


    When I click on a folder that happens to have new emails, then a number indicating how many appears. This seems like odd behavior to me.


    My account is Outlook, have removed and added the account, checked the firewall.


    Mail app details: 16005.12026.20218.0


    Has anyone else had this and is there a way to fix it otherwise I'll have to consider another mail app?

    No New Mail notifications on Windows 10

    I'm also having this issue, but the 8.1 solution isn't appropriate for Windows 10. I've enabled notifications in both the Mail app and Settings, but Mail doesn't appear in the list of Show notifications from these apps.

    Any other suggestions?

    Mail Notification Banners not showing

    I want this feature in Windows 10 Mail. I followed the steps you mentioned. App Notifications are enabled and mail is showing in apps to show notifications but still I don't get a banner notification.

    Mail not showing notifications


    I am not getting toast or action center notifications for Mail app, although in the Mail app settings, I have notifications enabled.
    In Windows settings, "notifications & actions", both the mail app and the calendar app are missing from the list.
    I have not set up the calendar app, but I did set up the mail app with my gmail account, and aside from notifications, it seems to be working properly.
