Windows 10: Windows 10 mail : lost mails when moving from other to focused group

I have just used the "always move to focused folder" to move some important emails from the "other" folder to the "focused" folder but now these emails are no where to be seen. I have looked in deleted/archived/spam/junk and of course the focused folder. I cant find them anywhere. They look to be permanently deleted. Any one else had this issue? I have checked the mail sync setting and that is set to "anytime".

Groups in Windows 10 Mail

I am attempting to migrate from Windows Live Mail to Windows 10 Mail. I have a large group of people I send a weekly e-mail to and cannot figure out how to build a group in Windows 10 Mail. I have added a People contact with the list of e-mail addresses
under Personal E-Mail but it keeps truncating the list. It will work for a short while but when I try it hours or days later it has cut the list in half somehow. How can I correct this? Please help.

Windows 10 Mail App Focused Problem

Hi Larry,

To turn off the Focused & other feature in the Mail app, please follow the steps below:

• Open your Mail app
• Click on the Settings icon (looks like a gear).
• Click Options, and search for the layout section.
• Under layout, find Focused Inbox. Select Don't sort messages and then hit
  Save.

Windows Mail

Yes, Windows mail (on Vista) is almost identical to Windows Live Mail (which I use here at work on XP), and have multiple accounts set up.

Windows Live Mail has one of the best out-of-the-box spam detectors I have ever seen in an e-mail client, and of course, it's free.

The one thing I like about WLM over Windows Mail on Vista, is that WLM does not use popup box verification when you delete the entire junk mailbox (it does, however, on the deleted mailbox). If I hit the delete key for a whole mailbox, I mean it. Honestly, you don't have to ask me if I am sure about what I am doing.
