Windows 10: Windows 10 mail or outlook 365

Discus and support Windows 10 mail or outlook 365 in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; I have been getting 'your settings are out of date' sporadically with both Windows 10 mail and Outlook 365.     Windows 10 mail or outlook 365


    I have been getting 'your settings are out of date' sporadically with both Windows 10 mail and Outlook 365.


    My settings aren't out of date as nothing changes and then the IMAP sync works correctly for several days, then occasionally I get a few of these out of date errors popping up. If I do nothing, it resolves itself about 5 to 10 minutes later.


    Why is this happening?


    I have checked all my settings are as stated in this article https://support.microsoft.com/en-us...se,sync settings > Advanced mailbox settings.


    As it is not just me suffering this problem from a quick internet search, I can only assume it is something to do with Microsoft?


    I spoke with my IMAP server provider and I don't get the issue if I log on to my mail accounts directly with a browser, so it is obviously an annoying glitch with Mail and Outlook 365.

    Delete mails in Outlook but want to keep mails untouch in webmail

    When I deleted an email in outlook and my webmail got deleted too. I want to keep all the inbox mails from the webmail even I complete deleted in outlook. I spend hrs can't think it out how. Any step by step instruction? I'm using IMAP account btw. Thanks and Merry Christmas.

    How to install outlook express on windows xp with explorer 8?

    This is an awkward problem to solve and one I don't think is worth the time and effort.

    The OP would be better off either using a modern webmail service like gmail or outlook.com or using a modern email client like Windows Live Mail like FX-GMC suggested or Thunderbird from Mozilla. If nothing else, Outlook Distress was notorious for corrupting its data files and losing all your email in one easy step. Not worth it.

    Hi there,

    "Outlook 365 recently opened mail not showing in taskbar list"

    Are you using Outlook 365 desktop client or Outlook Web App?

    What taskbar list are you referring, is it Windows 10 Task View?
    Could you provide screenshot here where do you want to see recently opened email?

    Although, there is no taskbar list in Outlook 365 desktop and Outlook Web app client to check recent opened email.

    If you are referring to Windows 10 Task View, should contact Windows 10 support rather than Outlook.
