Discus and support Windows 10 Mail - Problem forwarding USPS Informed Delivery emails in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; Within the last few weeks, when I try to forward a USPS Informed Delivery email I get the following message in Windows 10 mail "download in progress....     Windows 10 Mail - Problem forwarding USPS Informed Delivery emails


    Within the last few weeks, when I try to forward a USPS Informed Delivery email I get the following message in Windows 10 mail "download in progress. if you reply message may be incomplete" I have used Windows 10 mail for a number of years and have been able to forward these emails. I can forward the email directly from my Gmail account online but cannot do so from my Windows 10 Gmail account on my PC. When I forward the email directly from my Gmail account, and the forwarded email synchs with my Windows 10 mail account on my PC, the Gmail forwarded version can be forwarded. However the original email from USPS on my Windows 10 mail account still cannot be forwarded.


    I only have this problem with USPS Informed Delivery emails. I can forward all other emails that I receive in Windows 10 Mail.

    USPS Delivery Confirmation Problem Explanation & Solution

    Same problem here I just shipped two items off and tracking isn't working. Dono whats up with it.

    Thanks for the update, Stein-Are. We just want to clarify the following information to make sure that we're on the same page:

    • Were you able to forward emails while connected to your company or private network when you access your email online using Outlook.com?
    • Can you forward emails when not connected to your company or private network using the Windows 10 Mail app?
    • Were the emails you wanted to forward marked as Private?

    In the meantime, we suggest that you update the Windows Mail App. Follow the steps in

    Update Mail and Calendar for Windows 10    .

    Windows 10 Mail Forwarding and Replying Problem

    Hi Guy,



    To resolve your issue on forwarding and replying using the Mail app. You can run the
    troubleshooter for Windows app to diagnose the problem and automatically
    fix the issue. If the issue still persists, we suggest that you remove and recreate your email account. Just follow the steps below:



    • Click on Settings found on the bottom of the left navigation pane.
    • Choose Manage Accounts, then highlight the account that needs to be worked on.
    • Select Delete account.
    • Set up your account again.


    NOTE: Removing and recreating your email account can only be done on any added email accounts and not on the Microsoft account that you used to sign in to Windows.
