Windows 10: Windows 10 Mail with AOL 2 Step Verification

Hoping someone can help as I can't figure out how to do this?

to be able to retrieve my email on the new laptop, I would normally need to enter the 2 step verification code once AOL realizes I'm on a new device, just like I needed to do for my iphone and through the browser on the laptop.

I cant see anywhere in the Windows 10 Mail settings to enter this information, and regardless I don't know how I would get the Win 10 mail to prompt a code to my phone?

Is there a way around this without disabling 2 step verification on my AOL email, which I do not want to do?

2 step verification with Mail

How do use 2 step verification with Windows Mail. Now, I'm just getting a error message say that my password is out-of-date.

Turning off 2 step verification

i have the 2 step verification DISABLED under my settings yet when i try to retrieve mail it keeps asking me to logg into google and it takes me thru process and gives me an authentication code. What must i do with this code? I dont want the 2 step verification!!!
