It is confirmed this is still a bug and not fixed , unfortunately PG team has not provided us any update on this Issue’s fix arrival so we are unable to update you here as well .



It would be either be release publicly in upcoming hotfix or you can follow up here again in case not received.

1. Any other Maps app versions are tried as well with windows 10 2004 ? Is any of them working ?If yes ,share the version here



2. Since Somehow image is not showing , Is error on maps is same with windows 2004 version as well or different ?


3. Issue happening on system OS win 10. 2004 with GPS or without GPS ?

I have a quick test for you to try : Looks like it has been an Issue with Maps with previous versions of windows 10.



Please test this on one of the machines with win :2004 update to check.



As per Product Group Team this Issue is fixed in windows 10 OS: 2004 Version.

It's basically what I mentioned above, small issues here and there ,but nothing to end your day.. for the most part.

I know it's anecdotal, but for my experience 95% of the time it's perfectly fine. The issues I've run into wouldn't be enough for me to roll back , but they would be enough (had I not installed it yet) ,to avoid it for another couple weeks which is why I'm suggesting it to the OP

If issue persists then there might be a chance that the Maps app may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

• Open powershell as administrator
• Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
