So i got the latest update on my windows 10 laptop like last week, and i downloaded it. Due to some network issues, the download/install failed...     Windows 10 May feature update


    Hey.

    So i got the latest update on my windows 10 laptop like last week, and i downloaded it. Due to some network issues, the download/install failed (not sure which one cus i was busy with work while it was updating, checked like an hour later). So i re-downloaded it, and it failed to download again, bad connection i know. Since last sunday i got my connection fixed and now that I'm trying to update it, it says "you're upto date" in windows update section .

    Please help .

    What I've tried so far: stop windows update in services, delete all files in SoftwareDistribution and restart windows update in services. Still no update.

    Microsoft to make Windows 10 updates mandatory

    Well, at the moment at least, you can choose to defer upgrades. Under Settings > Windows Updates > Advanced options you need to check the box labeled "Defer upgrades". What does that do? Good question. The answer I've found might illuminate it to a degree.

    I hear this only applies to Pro and Enterprise editions. But I can't verify that.
