Windows 10: Windows 10 May update

The above update caused my PC and wi-fi to fail, [ unable to access the Internet ]. Then I discovered that the wi-fi would work only when the PC was powered down.

Recovering the PC to an earlier date, only caused more problems. Programme said faults had been detected, and a restart was required, but PC powered down instead.[ tried this several times ].

As nothing else worked, I did a Reset of the PC, even though I lost some apps and settings, both the PC and wi-fi operated successfully.

My question is -; Do I install the May upgrade again ? And do you have any suggestions in relation to the problem that I experienced.

Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Well just noticed a pretty large one pop up coming in at 914MB, seems it makes some pretty serous updates.
