Windows 10: Windows 10 Media Creation Tool Not Working

The media creation tool goes thru everything but when it gets to the point were it says it needs to close and clean up then it boots up with windows and you see the numbers loading then it opens up saying for me to agree i do then it checks for updates and when it gets to the point saying checking your pc the tool just closes down and nothing happens.


I got a new hp pc for my birthday in june and it came with 1709 and even with windows updates that 1803 downloads and then says installing but nothing happens at one point it was finished and told me to restart but nothing just boots into windows.


the only thing that works is The Update Assistant and i was updated to 1803 but i wanna do a clean install and can't


any help would be great
