    Windows 10 - Media Player issues


    How use auto play to RIP cds with Windows 10 media player? No option to do so...

    Side note, how can i open Windows Media player in Library mode when auto playing cds?

    Im running Windows 10 64bit pro.

    This makes me sad *cry .... any help really appreciated!

    How do I play mpeg video files on Windows Media Player?

    • When you say that "Is WMP", are you referring to Window Media Player on Windows 10?
    • Are you facing any issues with using Windows Media Player?

    Welcome to TenForums @Entreat

    No, I don't think you'll find it in Autoplay. But you could try setting Autoplay to play CDs with Windows Media Player, having previously set WMP to automatically rip CDs. Open WMP and see the 'Rip Music' tab in 'Tools > Options...'.

    Hover your mouse over the WMP window and a 'Switch to Library' button will appear in the top right corner.

    Thanks for the reply.
    I really want to be able to either right click on my drive in explorer and rip to media player.
    Also dont want to have to 'switch to library' every time i play a cd....
    If i cant, then i guess ill need to look elsewhere.

    If you go to tools > options > rip music, there is a "rip CD automatically" option. And a drop down to select MP3 or FLAC etc. I assume it will rip a CD when you play it? I haven't tried it myself.
