Windows 10: Windows 10/Media Player ver 12/External DVD player Pioneer

Hi!


I'm having difficulty with Media Player not displaying on the Navigation panel the external drive I plug in. So, I'm unable to play my videos using Media Player. However, if I open my my File Explorer, my computerdoes see the external drive D.


Note: I have a Samsung Galaxy Book 12 DESKTOP-2HPV2PD.


Your advice is appreciated.

and from the last link is the same error where you can just disable it too =)

 

Faulty Windows Media Player

Windows Mesdis Player developed a fault (Played jerky an missed bits) so I down loaded Media Player 10.

It's no better. Any suggestions (I run Windows 98)

• What exactly happens when you try to play DVDs on Windows Media Player?
• Are the DVDs being detected on your computer?

I suggest you to run Windows Media Player DVD troubleshooter.

Windows Media Player DVD troubleshooter find and fix problems with playing DVDs in Windows Media Player.

Steps:

• Press Windows key, type troubleshooting
  and select it.
• Click on View all in the left pane.
• Click onWindows Media Player DVD and follow the onscreen instructions.
