Windows 10: Windows 10 mic problem

Hi. Recentlt I built up my pc. Everything works fine. But my mic is not working. I have;

1 speaker jack on my monitor - It works good (doesn't have mic) 1 speaker jack front of my case- works good 1 mic jack (as a speaker it works. Windows recognizes my mic and does not find any troubleshoot. But it just does not work. When I heat headset to somewhere it records that voice. But when I talk it does not. And the same problem happens on back side of my case (motherboard's mic jack).

Additional info: I have tried 3 different mic/headset, I hav tried reinstall audio driver I have updated my OS My motherboard is MSI B450 Pro a max

USB Mic Problems.

The next step is what I suggested originally. Try it in a friend's PC or take it to Best Buy and ask them to try it one of their PC's. Have to confirm the mic is working OK.

 

Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

USB Mic Problems.

im having the same problem as well, gone through all the steps listed but still no luck unfortunately.
If anyone finds a solution please post it up
