Windows 10: [Windows 10] Microsoft KM-Test Loopback Adapter issue

Hello,I am using Windows 10 64-bit Pro version under my laptop which only has Wi-Fi adapter. I hope you guys knows that Wi-Fi connection can be shared with virtual environment like GNS3 through MS Loopback adapter. I have added MS KM-Test Loopback adapter properly through legacy hardware wizard. Assigned IP address is 192.168.137.1/24 loopback interface IP after I share my Wi-Fi adapter with this loopback interface.But Problem is this interface can't distribute IP with virtual environment GNS3 through DHCP or it can't ping GNS3 environment and vice versa if I set IP manually i.e. 192.1

Can't install Loopback Adapter after last windows 10 update

If you're having issue installing MS KM-TEST Loopback Adapter, we suggest performing the manual methodas explained in the steps provided below:

• Click the Start Menu. In the search box type “hdwwiz” and then click the hdwwize.exe program link.
• Now the Add Hardware wizard should be open. Click next through the first page, and then on the second select install the hardware that I manually select from a list (Advanced). Click next to continue.
• Scroll down the list and Select Network Adapters then Click Next.
• Give the next window a moment to load, and then Click Microsoft and Select Microsoft KM test Loopback Adapter.

Now the Microsoft KM test Loopback Adapter should be installed and it will show up in your network connections window.

if this helps -

Now the Microsoft KM test Loopback Adapter should be installed and it will show up in your network connections window. From here you can configure it accordingly.
