Windows 10: windows 10 microsoft mail s-l-o-w to load

    been going on for about a month now when click on my inbox, sent box or whatever it says "nothing has arrived yet."

    This is the mail and calendar version with outlook that came with my Dell Computer, I have another email address syncing in this program also.

    Takes a minute or so then the msgs. appear but...when I click on them..it takes seemingly forever for them to load in the preview pane.

    I see where I can reset this app but if I do, will I lose all my messages stored there? My guess would be yes but not sure.

    Anything I can do to fix it and save my msgs? Not seeing the option in my troubleshooting choices.

    Is this problem by any chance remotely possibly related to a recent update? Saw a post somewhere suggesting the possibility and if so...will there be a fix soon ? Realize it could be caused by a number of other issues but just wondering about the chances of an update issue too .

    Dell (Inspiron-3137) Netbook, running "s-l-o-w"

    I have a Dell Inspiron-3137 Netbook with Windows 10, that is running awful "s-l-o-w" lately. How can I speed it up? It came with Windows XP on the HD, so if I do a recovery / restore, it will revert back to that operating system & I'll loose Windows
    10. Any advice?

    I suggest you to Run Maintenance task and check if it helps.

    The Run maintenance task checks issues that might slow down your computers, such as how many users are currently logged on to the computer and whether multiple programs are running at the same time.

    Follow the below steps.

    • Press Windows + X on the keyboard.
    • Select Control Panel.
    • Select Troubleshooting.
    • Click on Run maintenance task under System and Security.

    Microsoft Selects Dolby Audio for Windows 10

    it would've been great if microsoft added HEVC decoders, LAV filters along with other codecs with Windows 10, and developing WMP to be better than VLC, KMPlayer and such sorts of media players.

    Nevertheless, this is good step for microsoft, by far.
