Windows 10: Windows 10 Miracast projecting my Screen Saver to my TV

Hello,When I try to project my desktop screen to my TV using Miracast, I get audio. But not the video. Instead of what is appearing on my desktop screen, I get a screen saver on my TV. Is there anyway to control what Miracast sends to your TV?John

Unable to project PC screen to TV

2. What happens when you try to project to TV?
   
3. Were you able to project the laptop screen to TV earlier?
   

Miracast is a wireless technology your PC can use to project your screen to TVs, projectors, and streaming media players that also support Miracast. You can use this to share what you’re doing on your
PC, present a slide show, or even play your favorite game on a larger screen.

Unable to project to Miracast TV

My Dell Laptop is windows 10 (upgraded from 8.1). It does not support Miracast and hence I am unable to project screen to conference rooms having Miracast enabled TVs. What device i can attach to my laptop to be able to cast my screen to miracast TVs.

I would request you to update the wireless and firmware drivers on your Computer as there is a possibility that basic drivers were installed after the update. Also make sure that visibility is turned on while adding the wireless display. Once
the drives are updates, then try to connect the display. You can follow the suggestions provided in the articles:

• Fix connections to wireless displays or docks
  
• Project to a wireless display with Miracast
