Windows 10: Windows 10 - missing settings, performed a reset, uninstalled and reinstalled drivers, what...

I am missing settings options for my trackpad. The buttons/clicks are no longer working, only a tap. All hardware scans are coming back normal. so is the sfc /scannow and dism.exe.


I have the hp x360 2-in-1 laptop with the most updated windows 10. I have tried uninstalling the synaptics drivers, reset the entire computer from settings. Why is my touchpad no longer working, I also do not think this is the only place I am missing setting options taht used to be there, but now I have no way of checking.

How do you uninstall chipset drivers?

I'm installing a new mobo so I need to uninstall the intel 865g drivers to make way for the P35 drivers.

Can't find any uninstall options in add/remove programs and intel chipset inst listed in driver cleaner.

Any suggestions? *Confused

• Are you not able to access the Windows store?

Before performing reset ensure you must have to select
Keep my files. It will do the following,

• 
  Reinstalls Windows 10 and keeps your personal files.
  
• 
  Removes apps and drivers you installed.
  
• 
  Removes changes you made to settings.
  
• 
  Removes any apps your PC manufacturer installed. (If your PC came with Windows 10, apps from your PC manufacturer will be reinstalled.)
  

So as you have performed the reset to your PC the apps are missing. We suggest you to download the applications again and check if it helps.
