Windows 10: windows 10 mouse curser will randomly switch to scrolling icon

So I don't know what I did but for a month now my mouse courser will randomly switch to a scroll icon but won't do anything, but if I leave my system on over night and my mouse icon over a browser IL end up whit 100+ tabs in the morning, I ran the hardware trouble shouter that found nothing, my av found nothing as well and I am running for av Eseth it dose malware in the processes as well

How do I change scroll direction of a mouse NOT listed under Mice?

Thanks; yes, those are great directions and did work to change the direction of the wired mouse that came with the computer. But the mouse I'm using doesn't show up as a mouse in the hardware list, so I can't follow the rest of those steps. I need the mouse to appear on the list of mice in order to complete this sequence.

• Click Start > Settings.

• Under Choose how many lines to scroll each time, move the slider to the right to make the speed of your mouse wheel faster.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
