Windows 10: Windows 10 MS Edge newest beta

Hi All,
I am currently running Windows 10 Pro Build 1909 18363.476
I installed the new MS Edge Beta (ver, 79.0.309.40 64-bit) and just started testing it. Seems fairly quick testing some of my frequent sites I visit. I decided to enable the "menu bar" which I always use and found that Edge don't have it. Never even noticed that the older version didn't have it either. That in itself will tell you I rarely open it. lol
I do not understand MS at all. I remember when many other browser added the favorite bar. It was great! It took MS a long time before putting that in IE. Edge was installed with Windows 10 installation of course but I never really used it because it just didn't have the every day options other browsers had that I liked.
Who at MS is making these educated decisions about what we should/need to have in a browser?
Why remove the things we get accustomed to and take for granted and have quick access to in a browser.
Just my take on the new MS Edge Beta and why I will not bother to test any further and I will be removing the beta version.

Flash player in Windows Phone - MS Edge

Did You prove to do your suggestion to enable flash player on MS Edge on Windows phone 10 ?

Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Edge Search Does Not Permit Change of Region


I got these suggestions from the Microsoft Community forum.No. 1 worked for me:

Thank you for posting the query on Microsoft Community. I am glad to assist you on this.
We have reproduce the issue here and we are able to access non-regional search for google using Microsoft Edge.
I would suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps.
Step 1:
Clear browsing data option of Microsoft Edge and check if you face the issue. To do so perform the steps below.

1. Click on the More actions icon next to the feedback icon present on top right corner of the Project Spartan homepage.
2. Select Settings and click on Choose what to clear.
3. Check the boxes Browsing history, Cookies and saved website data and Cached data and files and click on Clear.

Step 2:
I suggest you to create a new user account and check if the issue occurs.

1. Go to Settings.
2. Choose Accounts and then select Family and other users.
3. Select add someone else on this PC.
4. Enter a user name and hit next.
5. Click on Finish.
6. Sign out from the current Account and Log into the new account.

Step 3:
It could also happen because of network issue. I suggest you to try with different network connection and check if it helps.
