    I'm using my work laptop to remote in. I was using Windows 7 before and had no problem with Remote Desktop. Using Win10 on new laptop, if I just drag the calculator over the screen with RD, it minimizes instantly. Not the end of the world, but super annoying. Anyway to stop it?Note: An ACTIVE remote desktop session is what minimizes, NOT the remote desktop program itself.

    At present I am running three monitors without a problem. . .having said that there is one fault and that is not being able to use a different picture/wallpaper on each monitor. To get around this problem I use Display Fusion ( I know there are some folks that just can't get over the fact that a third party program is needed to display separate wallpapers on each monitor. As to Remote desktop goes don't use it so I cannot comment on it's us. . .Windows 10, multiple monitors, REMOTE DESKTOP keeps minimizing whenever another program is... :)

    Microsoft Remote Desktop APP (NOT Connection!) Multiple Monitors

    Just switched to Windows Server 2016 Standard implementing RDS. We want remote users to be able to use Timezone redirection and enabled it in Group Policy. It does not work with the Remote Desktop Connection so after hours of trying we tried the Microsoft
    Remote Desktop APP. It works in the App so we decided to switch EXCEPT we just found that the APP does not seem to support multiple monitors.

    So more Microsoft frustration. We have to decide which is more important, timezone or multiple monitors.

    Has anyone been able to get multiple monitors to work with the Microsoft Remote Desktop APP?
