Windows 10: Windows 10 mutes all bluetooth audio after pause

Given:
1. A sound playing from audio player / video player / Spotify
2. A sound playing in Chrome / Firefox / Edge YouTube for example
3. Click pause in any place from list item 1 or 2
4. All other audio is being muted players / browsers note: except for Edge / even Windows sounds; but the audio device says that sound is present
5. The audio / video players / YouTube keeps counting seconds
6. The sound resumes after some time usually it takes 10-30 sec

I've updated all the drives and laptop firmware. Windows 10 2004 19041.450, no updates available at this moment.
No firmware updates are available for headphones Audio-Technica ATH-SR50BT.

Windows 10 mutes Bluetooth audio after Pause button is pressed

The bluetooth audio in Windows 10 is muted after I press the Pause button (on my keyboard) to pause music (in Spotify). In many cases I do this to pause the music so that I can watch a video on youtube. Is there a way to make sure that only the music is
paused and that the bluetooth audio does not go away?

Thank you for your response. Unfortunately, these suggestions did not solve my problem.

The problem occurs only after pressing pause, when not only the playback of spotifyis paused but the general audio output is muted (although not shown in the volume level in Windows 10).

 

Bluetooth in windows 10

My computer specs are as listed in the profile. I think all of you guys are correct. I don't have built-in Bluetooth in mobo.

I contacted skull candy headphones and thy have told me if I do not have built-in Bluetooth, I would need a dongle which supports at least a2dp. I do not know what the heck that means. I have a feeling I would need more than a cheap dongle.

Anyone suggest some a2dp adapters. I searched but don't know what a2dp is so couldn't make a decision
