Windows 10: Windows 10 native android app emulation

This is primarily a feature request, if we make enough noise, maybe someone at Microsoft notices.

Back in the W10 mobile days, they NEARLY got Android app emulation working.

Project Astoria carried promise, i had Android apps running on my desktop.

And then they killed it.

They now have linux on windows, can we get android on windows or a compatibility layer for android apps?. I would appreciate being able to run so many apps on my device that can have their own little containers with mimial or dedicated resources (nox and their ilk dont count as they are all either bloated or carry spyware).

Chrome could do it with ARC (and still does to some aspect)...why not Chromium edge?

I honestly think this is a great thing they are overlooking. Samsung devices can have their apps launched in windows, why ? Why do we need a separate phone or device?

i honestly can't see the barrier that led to this current conundrum.

Also I say we form some sort of movement to call on companies such as Microsoft and other on their bullshit and bad decisions. Especially companies like Microsoft and Google seem hell bent on taking out data with their "telemetry", why shouldn't we get a voice in the results of those data-taking actions?

Bring back AndroidAppsonWindows!

$.10 android apps

Not sure if anyone's seen this yet, but they have $.10 (yes, 10 cents) android apps on the Android Market to celebrate 10 BILLION downloads. So far I've picked up Tetris, Need for Speed Shift, SoundHound amd ADWLauncher EX. There were several other games that were listed, including ones too good for my phone *Frown

 

Android Apps, Games, Emulators...etc..

I'm looking for GOOD FREE Android Apps...Nothing Buggy, Useless or makes you wait for full length commercials to load...

Free is the key!
