Windows 10 Network Credentials Access Denied to connect to WD NAS

I am using windows 10 Pro x64 Build 1903 and want to use 6TB WD NAS as Map Drive to my Desktop pc.

    i already did the following:
    1. turned off the password protected sharing
    2. uninstall anti virus
    3. turned off firewall
    4. i add the username and passwd in credential manager
i tried like this format \\pcname\username - passwd
    \\<ip address>\username - passwd
    5. check the machine ip address

but none have worked..should i say...DEAD END for me *Sad

I know this is kinda old question but is there any way we can just solve the problem with the network credentials using windows 10 x64.. i really need help about this...thanks and advance

    :)

How to deny access to a device on "Network" on windows 10

    Hi,

I'm an admin in my organization and I connected our wrong NAS drive (device) to an employee's laptop that they shouldn't have access to. The fact that the device is visible is not a problem. The trouble is that when you click
the device it asks an access code, which employees don't have. I used my admin code to sign in and try out the device (I need to add it to other computers with access) without realizing I can't undo it. So now it's not only visible but gives an access to that
device. So how do I cancel that sign in?

Some steps that I have tried:

    1. I have removed the device from Settings->Devices->Bluetooth & other devices and it's no longer in that device list.
    2. I've also reset the network (wifi) but the access remains open under Network.
    3. I tried rebooting the device without a success
    4. I checked the saved credentials with
      rundll32 keymgr.dll,KRShowKeyMgr and control keymgr.dll
but in neither of the cases the NAS device login was listed (the latter command listed
      virtualapp/didlogical and
SSO_POP_Device under Generic Credentials which I think neither are NAS related.)

    Some notes:

    1. It's not a mapped device so disconnecting it won't work (there are no options for that when right-clicked).
    2. It's also not listed in Device Manager->Software devices, where the other NAS, the right one is listed.

    Can anyone help?

  3. Windows 10 asking for network credentials for NAS even after diabling

I have tried EVERYTHING and I still can't access my NAS Buffalo drive because I don't know the credentials Windows is asking for!

Even if I create a credential and then enter it when asked, I keep getting "Access is denied"

I have completely disabled credentials (in root programs) and it is still asking for one on the NAS

I created a local profile and it is still asking for a credential for the NAS

    What is going on?!?!?!?

Windows 10 Network Credentials Access Denied to connect to WD NAS

Unable to access NAS (WD Mycloud)

I recently acquired and installed a WD Mycloud for the purpose of backing up all my computers, including my company's notebook. I cannot get the company notebook (Win 10 Enterprise) to see the Mycloud device. It does see all the other devices on my home network. All my other Win 10 and Win 7 machines have no problem using the Mycloud.
    Things I have tried:

None of this works. Now, I have at time seen the Mycloud on the network, which seemed to be related to enabling sharing and network discovery. However, even when I could see it, I still couldn't access it.

    Any other ideas?
