Further Description of Issue When I right click on the globe for Network & Internet Settings the Status Page says no internet access yet as I type this and troubleshoot the issue I am streaming the news in a browser. Streaming quality seems fine but the Netflix Windows App and Microsoft Store are giving me trouble as I believe Windows has them convinced I am not connected to the internet.

Troubleshooting Steps I Tried So Far I reset Windows Networking on the Network & Internet Settings Status Page. This did not solve the issue.

More About My System - Hopefully There is a Clue in Here Somewhere My PC is connected to Ethernet via patch cable to a WiFi router behind a DOCSIS 3.1 cable modem. I own both networking devices ISP is Spectrum formally TWC.

I am running a fully patched (March 2020) 1909 version of W10 Pro. Drivers are believed to be up to date. BIOS is known to be current. System is free of detectable malware

Also noteworthy is that the NordVPN client is installed on the system but it is not presently in use. This issue persist whether I am connected to a VPN or not.

WiFi is turned OFF via the slide switch in Network & Internet Settings.

If the icon is hidden from the task bar, you can enable it by using the following steps. The icon might be hidden. Here's how to show the battery icon:

• Right-click an empty area on the taskbar, and then click
  Properties.
• Under Notification area, click
  Customize.
• In Notification Area Icons, click on Select
  which icons appear on Taskbar.
• On in the drop-down list next to
  Power, and then click OK.

If the issue still persists you can try Updating the latest Power management driver software for Windows 10 from the manufacturer website.

No list available networks from task bar windows 10

Windows 10. Click on wifi icon on task bar. A gray box appears where the list of networks should appear. Within the gray box Is two small boxes one of my current internet connection and airplane mode. Just above those small boxes a text link,

"Network settings". I click network settings it opens a setting window that shows all available network connections, with the ability to connect to each. Why doesn't the list of available networks show when clicking the wifi icon on the task bar?
