Windows 10 - New alert windows don't come to front and are not made active

I'm on windows 10 and for some reason new windows (typicaly alerts or errors) do not come to the front and become active when they launch. So what is happening is a program I'm using creates an alert window which wants my input, but I sit there clicking or waiting unware that I'm supposed to be reading or doing something in a window that is hidden behind my current window. Similarly, when I launch a program from my keyboard like the calculator, it doesn't come to front, and it doesn't make it the active window. so if I quickly want to do a calculation, I launch calculator, then have to close windows to find where it's been buried on the screen, then I have to click in the window to before I can finally begin. In older windows versions, I just had to launch, then type.... sooo easy. not anymore.

    :)

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

    Windows 10 Activation (Insider)

How long did you wait for activation?
When I re-installed with a fresh install... it took a few hours to sync and activate.
    However, it did, finally, activate.

my windows 10 oem didn't come with a product key

Dude, go to Newegg right now and read the questions and answers tab on Windows 10 OEM. The OEM copies that are listed there DO in fact, come on an optical disc. The flash drive ONLY comes on Retail copies.
