Why did Microsoft remove the Windows Logo

I figured out that you cannot have the new Windows 10 logo and a personal logo visible at the same time on the About page. Once I remove the logo=%path%\my-logo.bmp from registry key HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\OEMInformation, the Windows
10 logo became visible.

 

How to show website logos on tiles pinned to start screen in Windows 10?

Sites accessed through Internet Explorer 11 in Windows 8.1 retained their logos in Windows 10 until I accessed those sites through Edge and (re)pinned them to Start. Then the new tiles always got the Edge logo.

I was having a little trouble editing that one, but I was able to put this one together. I've been using it as my Facebook cover photo, that's why the resolution is a bit strange. *Wink
