    Windows 10 New Update Glitches out and refuses to complete


    The new windows update glitches out each time in gets to "working on updates". I've tried troubleshooting and using the windows update assistant. After getting to this point, it will glitch out, go black, and then my pc will restart. No online solution is seeming to fix my problem and I couldnt find anything online. I

    Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

    Glitching After Updating To Windows 10

    Hi Ahsiek,

    Display errors might have caused by an incompatible drivers. For us to isolate the issue, we would like to know the following:

    • What is the
      build number and version of your Windows      ?
    • When you say glitch, does it mean that the screen flickers?
    • What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?
    • What is the make and model of your Windows 10 laptop?

    In the meantime, we suggest that you update the graphics driver of your Windows 10 by following the steps given on this article:
