Windows 10: Windows 10 - No Action Center sound

I recently put a custom sound scheme for Windows and every sound seems to function properly except for in a few areas. Any notification I get in the Action Center has no sound, nor does the volume tone in the volume bar on the bottom right. I have made sure that the "Notification" section in the sound scheme settings had a sound, but that sound doesn't play when its supposed to. I'm very lost here.

Disable Action Center in Windows 7?

Unfortunately that doesn't disable Action Center, all it does it cause Acution Center to bitch about the Security Center service not running.

Action Center seems to be a different beast from Security Center...

And telling it to not display any messages gets it out of the way, the same way disabling the icon in the suggestions above does, but Action Center is still enabled and running.

 

Stop action center notifications in Windows 10

To stop action center notifications, I suggest you to follow the steps given below:

• 
  Type settings in search bar and hit
  enter.
  
• 
  Go to system.
  
• 
  Select notifications and actions.
  
• 
  Click on turn system icons on or off.
  
• 
  Turn off action center.

No sound in Action Center

Thank you for posting in Community, I understand your concern and we will try to assist you in the best way we can.

In order to resolve your issue, I would suggest that you perform the step that are stated below:

Step: Run the Playing Audio troubleshooter

• Type troubleshooting in the search bar.
• Select Troubleshooting.
• Select View all on the top left corner.
• Click on Playing Audio.
• Follow the on-screen instructions to run the troubleshooter.
