    I have this same problem with Win10.

    I use a local account because I have zero interest in giving Microsoft any personal information for financial purposes. Caps Lock is definitely turned off. My password to log in is correct. I have double and triple checked everything before trying to log
    in.

    The problem is when user tries to log in to Win10 after a diagnostic startup while dealing with another issue, Win10 is unable to log in to Win10.

    Solution, or how I am able to log in to Win10, was to create another user account.
