Windows 10: Windows 10 - No Notification Sounds When Screen is Locked

I'm having an issue with receiving notification sounds from Microsoft Outlook M365 as well as Microsoft Teams when my screen is locked. I get notification sounds from both of these apps just fine when I'm logged in and working new mail, meeting reminders, new teams messages, etc. Locking my screen when I step away is required due to the nature of my job. If I step away for a few minutes and I have a meeting coming up, I rely on hearing my meeting notification when I'm in the other room. I've already checked all of my sound settings. Notification sounds in lock screen

As the title says I would like certain apps to play sounds on the lock screen (like on andriod), I have been trying to figure out how, i can get it to display the notification on the lock screen but it doesn't play any sound.

More Information

#1 The specific app is telegram.

#2 Its on a surface pro 7.

#3 Telegram makes notification sound when not locked. I added telegram to run in background in "Background apps" windows settting and then in "Notifications & actions" i have set it to show notification on lock screen and to allow to play sounds, and then
switched Telegram on in "Get notification from these apps"

Yeah, thats not a solution she is interested in......I've suggested that course of action. Thanks though.

Just to clarify, I feel that there MUST be a step, or series of steps to turn off JUST the wireless notification sound. Thats what Im driving @ here.

 

No notification on lock screen

Try the following methods and check if it helps:

Method 1:

Try to turn on and off the Show notifications on the lock screen option and check.

Follow the below steps:

• Type quick actions in the search bar and click on Choose your quick actions.
• Select Lock Screen.
• Turn on or off the Show notifications on the lock screen option
  and check if the issue persists.

If the issue persists then follow the below method.

Method 2: Perform System File Checker (SFC) scan.

Try to run a System File Checker (SFC) scan to check for any file corruption. SFC scan will scan for corrupt system files on the computer and repair them.

• Press Windows key + X, click Command Prompt (Admin).
• In the Command Prompt, type the following command, and then press ENTER:
  

sfc /scannow

If the issue persists then follow the below method.

Method 3:

I would suggest you to create a new user account and check if it helps.
