Windows 10: Windows 10 no password prompt after sleep

Hello,first of all some infos about the problem itself and the devices.Our problem is that after the sleep mode, windows does not prompt for a password, I only get an empty screen. I need to reboot the device so I can login again.The Problem only occur´s on our newer Dell Latitude Models. Latitude 5430, 5440, and on one Precision 3571.We use Intune for our Device Management. The scetchy thing is, that only like 4 notebooks of around 500 devices 150 intune only managed do have this problem.We tried a reinstall of the windows itself, sfc /scannow, new drivers etc. Nothing changes. Windows 10 not prompting for password on resume from sleep

Even though I have the "Password protection on wakeup" setting set to "Require a password" (see image below) on my Windows 10 PC, when I wake my computer from the sleep state, it does not prompt for a password. It just shows me the desktop.

Does anyone have any suggestions for making "lock on return from sleep" work?

For future reference, there have been reports that this was patched out several weeks back. I found an alternative method doing some registry diving.

I do in fact login with a password. I was a bit dubious about switching that setting back and forth but I figured I'd give it a try. Since I couldn't readily guess where that setting is, I just clicked in the search box on the task bar, typed "login"
and was led to the Settings / Accounts / Sign-in options UI (not the Control Panel, which is what I was showing in my original post) which has a "Require sign-in" field that was set to "Never". I changed this to "When PC wakes up from sleep", put the PC to
sleep, and when I woke it up, I was prompted for my password.

So not backing and forthing with changing the "require password" or the other steps you suggested were required. But thanks for (maybe accidentally leading me to the solution.
