Windows 10: Windows 10 no PDF previews I have tried everything.

no previews for PDFs I have tried everything.Acrobat general settings, Nothing.Regeadit fix: Nothing.clean re install of windows Nothing.PowerToys Nothing.file explorer poperties Nothing.I have tried every fix and nothing, it is broken only shows adobe acrobat icon on PDFs and will not show the Preview image of the PDF.

thanks for suggestion. i tried both, but neither worked. even with using Edge as pdf reader, and resetting and restarting, pdf previews in explorer, regardless of which default pdf viewer used, resulted in very small window in preview pane.

• Have you tried to delete the pdf file in preview panel?
• What exactly happens when try to delete the pdf file?

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

• 
  Open File Explorer.

  Select View and click on preview panel.
  
• 
  Select the pdf file.
  
• 
  At the right corner you will be able to see preview panel.
  
• 
  You can right click on it and delete the files.

Preview and Thumbnails of PDF files can be disabled on your PC . . .

I suggest that you follow steps below to enable this feature

Start Adobe Reader

Tap on Edit in the menu bar and select Preferences

Under Categories highlight General

Put the checkmark next to the box Enable PDF thumbnail previews in Windows Explorer
