Windows 10: windows 10 not able to install or upgrade from windows 8.1 - My pc is Inspiron 15 3520...

Greetings!!

I tried to update my windows 8.1 to windows 10. I tried to update from windows media creation from Microsoft website.

Its getting download. installation process also ok. when its trying to getting updates upto some percentage its fine. Later my PC get switch off and gets the error 0x80070488 - 0x3001A. The installation failed in the FIRST_BOOT with an error during BEGIN_FIRST_BOOT operation.


when i download the windows 10 and try installing using downloaded IOs media. After installation i do get error this Os is not compatible with the Hardware.


Please try to help me out. i keep trying and trying to find the solutions

Installing Windows 10 on New PC?

I'm going to be building a new PC on Christmas and want to install Windows 10 on it. I have Windows 10 on my current PC, which I installed upgrading from 8.1 with the files on a USB. How do I go about installing a clean copy of Windows 10 on this new PC? I think I recall something about installing it once makes Microsoft recognize your hardware, but since this will be a PC I'm not sure what steps I need to take. Do I need to go 8.1 -> 10 or is there a method of going directly to 10?

I would suggest you to visit Dell support website and download the latest touchpad driver Inspiron 3520 model and install it in compatibility mode for previous version of Windows.
