I have Dell Inspiron 260. This uses MBR disk and not GPTWindows 10 Pro. Was working on this PC for a long time - more than an yr.on 12/30/22, I tried using a new graphics card GS8400 1GB, installed it and tried to start, and in few minutes system started BSODing.dont know if this had anything to do with the graphic card... but anyway, I took it out and put back the original graphic card which was working in it since day 1.I am unable to boot... I keep getting 0xc000021a stopcode.Tried safe mode, safe mode with networking, "disable hardware signature", etc - nothing worksdid chkdsk --> no

Here is a statement from a Kernal Developer at Red Hat:

I'm not sure this exploits the legacy BIOS but rather it exploits the legacy boot method on MBR drives, injecting a signed key before the OS boots, which you are correct in that it has nothing to do with Windows 8. And the simplest fix would just be to require boot drives use GPT when Secure Boot is enabled in UEFI.

 

Windows 10 Tweaks

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
