Windows 10: Windows 10 not booting to boot ssd after fresh install

I have been trying to install windows 10 on my computer after buying it used but whenever i install the os then restart the pc for updates or other reasons the pc does not boot to the ssd. I then go into the bios and the ssd is available and in the correct boot order however it still won’t boot to the ssd and instead will either go back into the bios or tell me to insert boot drive. I have tried to use secure boot mode, changing the partition of the ssd to gpt, updating bios, checking sata cables and also checking the drives health when in windows and it is fine.Mobo: msi h110 pro vh plusCpu

I was having a slow boot issue on my Windows 7 install a little while back. It would take about 30 - 40 extra seconds to boot up for whatever reason.

I would try following these steps, while this didn't solve my issue, it did increase Read/Write to where it should be.

In the end, I had to reinstall my Windows 7 entirely to fix the booting issue. It was taking around 35 seconds to boot, and after the fresh install it takes about 7 seconds to boot.

Wow you were so right just done a fresh install with just the ssd connected. Takes like 10 secs to boot into windows not like 3 mins anymore.*Smile

Fresh install Windows 10 will not boot

I have A Dell 3847 spec I5 4460, 8GB ram, kingston ssdnow V200 240gb. If I do a fresh install my computer will not boot up Windows 10 by it itself but if I hit F12 and tell it to boot off my ssd it will boot and if I just do the upgrade it will boot up
norm . ssd can be seen in bios but not as a boot device so where i try to tell the bios what to boot off my SSD is not on the list
