Windows 10: Windows 10 not detecting headsets.

My headsets work on other devices. Realtek will pick it up when i plug it in through the mic input. But
windows 10 doesn't pick it up? When i try to do it through the usb connector windows still doesn't pick it up. When i use other devices with a usb connector it picks it up. How come it doesn't pick up headsets? I tried uninstalling the realtek audio drives then reinstalling it and it still doesn't work. No audio for my headsets. Also, My mic and headset works when plugged into a xbox one controller through the pc. The pc detects that. Why is that?

I know you say you're not that guy, but stepping into the $250+ range really brings a change in build quality that might have you never having to buy another set. Otherwise, getting 6 speakers with decent sound in a headset is hard, and that's what you are asking for, and I have no suggestions, but just a bump up the list. *Stick Out Tongue

USB headset not detected

I have a Koss CS95-USB headset that work flawlessly with windows 7. After upgrading to windows 10 the headset does not work at all. Windows 10 does not even act as if it detects the device being plugged in. No pop-up saying a new device is detected, no
device in the device manager to even look at. I have looked at all the problem post about USB headset and tried all the solution listed but non of them are useful because they all rely on updating or changing the installed driver and since my device doesn't
even get detected no driver is installed to change.

If anybody has a solution or if someone can give me a USB headset model that definitely works with windows 10 that would be very helpful.
