Windows 10: Windows 10 not detecting microphone from front jack

I downloaded the 2004 update and had some audio issues so I ran the troubleshooter and it reinstalled my driver. My previous driver was Realtek and now it is the Microsoft one. I haven't been able to find the option to decide "which device did I plug in" and whenever I try to open HD Audio Manager, nothing happens.

Front Panel Mic Not been detected

So I am using a gaming headset and a splitter to be able to use the mic of it. the problem is that the front panel jack for the mic doesn't detect the microphone. The rear panel does work and the mic turns on when connected to the back. A weird thing is
that if I connect the headphone part of the splitter into the microphone jack I can listen as if I connected it to the headphone jack. It detects headphones but no microphone. The rest of the front panel works normally is just the microphone jack.

I have already tried reinstalling realtek, I disable and enable realtek from detecting front panel.

Any suggestions?

My motherboard is gigabyte H110N

 

Windows 10 Won't Detect Microphone in Rear Jack

Up until a few days ago, my mic worked fine in the rear jack. The other night, my PC suddenly stopped being able to detect it from that jack. It will detect my headphones just fine from the back, but my microphone is shown as unplugged in my audio devices,
even though it is plugged in. Additionally, in the device properties, it only has the front jack listed. I have disabled devices showing in the recording devices manager so I know it's not just hidden. What exactly can be done about this?

 

Front Panel Intel(R) High Definition Audio not detected by Windows 10

Upon upgrading to Windows 10, the Front Panel 3.5mm Audio Jack is no longer detected or functions on the OS.

It is not listed in the Sound>Playback devices

• Show Disabled & Disconnected Devices are both checked on, so it isn't disabled.
• The Speakers Properties 'Jack Information' says 'Rear Panel 3.5mm Jack' and functions properly, so audio isn't muted.
• Front Panel Microphone is still listed on the Sound>Recording devices and functions properly, so it is detecting the panel.
• The Microphone Properties 'Jack Information' says 'Front Panel 3.5mm Jack' but displays both audio input from
  rear and front.

When booting up on another OS, on the same computer that is not Windows 10, the front panel audio jack is detected and functions normally.
