Windows 10: Windows 10 not loading to login page only black screen and mouse

Desktop Computer would start but once it should have gone to start up login page the screen would just go black, I managed to start in safe mode once and uninstall graphics driver but this did not fix my problem, upon restarting I still had the same issue, black page. I did a system recovery on the blue screen page but that also didn't work, eventually when trying to restart the computer again it came up with fixing c: and i let that process run taking about an hour but once it had finish I was back on the blue page again and I still cannot login, I just keep ending up on a blackscreen sometimes with spinning loading symbol but it never goes through. I doing chkdsk right now but I was wondering if anyone can help me? chkdsk eta said 999 hours??

Windows 10 Black screen problem NOT AFTER INSTALATION

• No changes were made
• the screen is black with a reponsive mouse
• The screen becomes black with a functional mouse where the login screen should be
• Normal loading screen for windows 10 says "please wait"
• Everything works in safe mode

Windows not loading on user identity page - black screen

When I start up my computer the loading page for windows 10 does not appear.

I have a Lenovo laptop which has the windows 10 operating system.

When I push the power button it shows the Lenovo logo and then the screen goes black and windows does not load.

The only way for me to get into windows is to put the laptop into sleep mode and then push ctrl/alt/delete which then takes me to the user login start up page.

The laptop has recently been successfully disinfected from the ODIN virus.

Any help and suggestions would be much appreciated.

Black screen showing only mouse pointer after Windows Update

my laptop goes to login, i enter my password. and sometimes it takes 2-3 mins with a black screen and a mouse till the desktop finally loads. If you have waited longer than this, then it could be the black screen of death.

There is a fix for it i just have to find it
