Windows 10: Windows 10 not starting or resetting.

My computer won’t boot into Windows or reset. I started noticing my computer would be stuck on the spinning circle animation screen after restarting. However, I got around this by doing start up repair anytime I wanted to restart which is quite often. Annoying, but not deal breaking. However, earlier today I tried installing newer Intel drivers, as mine were from 2017. I realized I would have to restart my computer, but no worries, I can just do start up repair. Right? Well, when I tried to do start up repair it failed to do so. I tried around 3 times and still nothing. I eventually decided to just reset my pc but keep files, even thought I didn’t have anything important on it but I didn’t want to download files as my internet is abysmal. It started off fine but I presume it got to around 40% but I was away so idk. I came back to a screen that said reset had failed. I’m completely lost, any help would be good. Oh and for those who are interested, I’m on Windows v1903 tried updating; didn’t work, this started happening around 6 days ago when I installed Minecraft Java Edition and custom clients for the game reputable ones. Other than that, nothing.

Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Windows 10 fails to update


When you finish testing the Avast suggestion, make sure that you restart your machine.

I think there are three steps that remain; the WU troubleshooter, reset WU components, and manual WU reset.
